Chef Neha Deepak Shah recreates Deepika Padukone’s favourite Bhutanese dish Ema Datshi

Deepika Padukone is a foodie who loves eating. In interviews, she mentioned that desserts are her weakness and that she misses her home-cooked meals. We already know that she loves South Indian cuisine, and rasam rice is her favourite dish.

However, in an interview with Curly Tales, Deepika recently expressed her fondness for the Bhutanese dish Ema Datshi. She could not recollect the name but said it was a fascinating, chilly cheese dish.

If you also crave and want to taste the dish, MasterChef India season 4 finalist Neha Deepak Shah has shared a recipe for it with her Instagram followers.

Ema Datshi is Bhutan’s national dish. It is spicy and served with plain rice. Ema means chillies, and Datshi means cheese.
