Chef Shreya Agarwala crosses 1 million followers on Instagram, says ‘Often we underestimate our own capabilities’

Chef Shreya Agarwala, who is popular for her Instagram account with the name Oh, Cheat Day, is on cloud nine with her new achievement!

Shreya has crossed 1 million followers on her Instagram account. She treats and satiates tastebuds of her followers by coming up with unique dishes’ recipes on her Insta handle.

Shreya celebrated the milestone by popping up champagne and cutting a cake. He posted a picture and video with a long post on Instagram stating that it took her two years of dedication and hard work to achieve 1 million mark, thanking her husband for the motivation.

Her post reads: “Hello Family Of “1 Million”. This is how my journey started – Exactly 2 years back in Jan 2022, I decided to dedicatedly go into content creation for a few months and see if I can do it. My cafe was shut that time (coz of pandemic and also I was shifting to Bangalore so didn’t reopen) and Content Creation was more to use my free time into something I love and was passionate about. My husband Akshit asked me “Babe where do you see yourself down the line, what is your dream ?” I said family of 300k may be? Coz back then the numbers were not so high, all this was new. He went like “Sapna dekhne bol raha hu, usmein Kanjusi kyu? Dream big why not 5M, 10M?? And I was like that’s not possible. He made me believe anything is possible if you believe it and I was like okay let me set a target- I will reach 1M end of the year. Well the journey has been something, I learned so much along & it took 2 years exactly but yes it happened. Coz I dreamt of it, often we underestimate our own capabilities. You guys made it happen and showered so much love upon this space just pure Love. You made be believe that “I Can” and if I can please always remember “You Can Too” just dare to dream and work towards making it come true. This is a celebration of the journey that you all have been a part of, with some I interact and with some of you I know you are there silently watching. It’s beautiful to see all of you so happy, celebrating and take pride in this milestone. Seeing this I feel the happiest today .”
