Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi’s YouTube Channel Gets Hacked

Renowned Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, celebrated for his vibrant personality and unique cooking style that blends traditional Indian flavors with a contemporary twist, has unfortunately fallen victim to a scam, resulting in his YouTube channel being hacked.

Harpal shared the troubling news with his fans on Instagram, where he urged YouTube India to address the issue and help restore his account. His YouTube channel, which boasts 1.02 million subscribers, was renamed “Tesla” after the hack. Harpal expressed his frustration, writing, “@youtubeindia, please help me recover the channel @need connect with contact person, to move ahead, the form that is shared by @youtubeindia is not helping to move ahead.”

Earlier this year, other prominent figures like rapper MC Stan, comedian Bharti Singh, and influencer Sarah Sarosh had their accounts hacked. Last year, YouTuber Tanmay Bhat, social media personality Abdu Rozik, and stand-up comedian Aishwarya Mohanraj also faced similar hacking incidents. Thankfully, they were able to retrieve their accounts, and fans are hopeful that Chef Harpal will soon recover his as well.

Born and raised in Kharagpur, West Bengal, in a Sikh family, Harpal Singh Sokhi developed a passion for food and cooking at an early age, inspired by his mother’s traditional cuisine. He is married and has two daughters, often sharing his love for food and family on his social media platforms, where he engages with followers by posting personal stories and recipes.

Chef Sokhi is well-known for his infectious energy and signature catchphrase “Namak Shamak,” which has become a hallmark of his brand. His cooking style combines traditional Indian spices with contemporary techniques, making his dishes both authentic and innovative. He is the founder of “The Funjabi Tadka,” a chain of restaurants that offers Punjabi cuisine with a modern flair. Additionally, Chef Sokhi has authored several cookbooks, sharing his culinary expertise with a wider audience.

Currently, Harpal is a judge on Colors’ weekend cookery show, Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, produced by Bharti Singh.
