Influencer Diipa Khosla’s Inde Wild Raises $5M
Read how the influencer-turned-entrepreneur Diipa Khosla is building a global Indian beauty brand and has raised $5M in funding.

When influencer Diipa Büller-Khosla started her Ayurvedic beauty brand Inde Wild three years ago, many investors weren’t convinced. Some called it “too niche,” and others said it was “too small” to back. But fast forward to today, and she’s got the last word and a big deal. Diipa Büller-Khosla has secured a $5 million funding round led by Unilever Ventures, proving the magic of Ayurveda and modern skincare. She calls it Ayurvedistry.
Diipa Khosla: From Influencer to Industry Leader
For those unfamiliar with her journey, Diipa Büller-Khosla started as a fashion and beauty blogger, studied international human rights law in Amsterdam, and later pursued a master’s degree in London.
In 2018, she became the first Indian influencer to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. This was a huge moment not just for her but for Indian Influencer representation in global fashion.
She is married to Dutch diplomat Oleg Büller and splits her time between Amsterdam and Mumbai. But no matter where she is, her heart beats for India, and her Ayurvedic brand reflects just that.

Inde Wild: Ayurveda Science
Inde Wild isn’t just another skincare brand; it’s deeply connected to Indian roots. Inspired by her mother, an Ayurvedic doctor, and her struggles with skincare, Diipa built the brand in 2021 to bridge the gap between ancient Indian traditions and modern science, and it’s working.

Inde Wild has grown 400% annually in India and 500% globally, making it the fastest-growing premium hair and skin brand on Nykaa and Tira. In 2024, it sold one unit every minute. The numbers speak to its success and reach.
Diipa – The Model and Marketer
Instead of relying on celebrity and other influencer endorsements, she uses her accounts and social media platforms to showcase the brand’s effectiveness. From bare-faced skincare routines to glamorous red-carpet looks, she proves that Inde Wild products work because she uses them herself.
What’s Next? Sephora & Global Expansion
With this fresh $5 million funding boost, Diipa has her sights set on something big, launching at Sephora in the United States.
“We started with one vision: to build a global Indian brand that felt just as at home in Mumbai as in New York or London,” she shared. And now, she’s making it happen. Investors doubted her, but Diipa Khosla did what she did best, and she proved them wrong.
She shared on her Instagram: “We proved them wrong, thanks to you”.
