Nikhil Advani starts shooting new web series ‘Freedom at Midnight’
Indian film producer, director and screenwriter Nikkhil Advani is working on his new web series. On Tuesday (30 January), Nikkhil took to Instagram and shared that he has started filming a new web series titled ‘Freedom at Midnight’.
He wrote, “A work of scholarship, of investigation, research and of significance’ – The New York Times…Freedom At Midnight by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins…Sacrifice of many. Ambition of one. Shoot Begins,” he captioned the post.

The series is adapted from the eponymous non-fiction book by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins. It is a political thriller drama series slated to launch on Sony LIV. The details regarding the cast have not been disclosed yet.
StudioNext and Advani’s Emmay Entertainment have come together to co-produce the series while Abhinandan Gupta, Adwitiya Kareng Das and Gundeep Kaur have penned the story.
