Rannvijay Singha begins shooting for Netflix’s Mismatched 3

Netflix’s popular web-series Mismatched will soon return with season 3 starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles.

Mismatched has been well received by viewers for its engaging storyline and the chemistry between Dimple and Rishi, the lead characters played by Prajakta and Rohit.

However, fans have equally shown immense love to Rannvijay Singha’s role as Sid sir. The shooting for Mismatched 3 commenced sometime back but Rannvijay has joined the team only now. He shared a couple of pictures from the sets on his Instagram profile.

In the first picture, he is seen hugging Prajakta, while in another photo he is posing with Rohit in a gym and in another picture again with Ms Koli looking dapper in a mirror selfie.

Mismatched is a young adult rom-com loosely based on the plot of Sandhya Menon’s book, When Dimple Met Rishi (Simon Pulse, 2017). In November 2020, the first season released , and in October 2022, the second dropped. There is no news about the release date of the third instalment. The show is directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari, and it is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies.

Prajakta made her Bollywood debut last year, when she appeared alongside Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor in Raj Mehta’s ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’. On the other hand, post Vikram Vedha, Rohit will next be seen in ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, alongside Pashmina Roshan, and Naila Grewal.

When they meet, Rishi spills coffee on Dimple just as she had when they first met in Season 1. Both seek solace in other people before realising they are in love with each other.

Is there a love triangle in Mismatched?

The most favourite one of the lots and the star of the season is Harsh, the NRI student who’s a rock-solid support system to Dimple and eventually falls into yet another love triangle with her and Rishi.

Is Prajakta Koli married?

In 2011, Koli started dating Vrishank Khanal, a lawyer by profession. The two announced their engagement on 17 September 2023. There is no news about their marriage yet.
