Tinder India Unveils Queer Dating Starter Pack and Pride Events
Dating app Tinder is making waves for India’s LGBTQIA+ community with a new initiative aimed at young queer users. Just ahead of Pride Month, Tinder India launched its first-ever “Queer Dating Starter Pack” in India. This resource, developed in collaboration with Gaysi Family, a prominent LGBTQIA+ media platform led by the queer community itself, it offers a visual checklist to guide young adults through the exciting yet sometimes confusing world of online queer dating.
Equipping Newbies in Queer Dating for Success
This new resource recognizes the growing trend of young Indians using dating apps to explore their gender and sexuality. According to a recent survey, 70% of young daters in India find dating apps to be a liberating space for self-discovery. Moreover, dismantling traditional stereotypes around sex, relationships, and gender identity.
Tinder’s new resource aims to empower first-time queer users by equipping them with the tools they need to navigate online dating with confidence and clarity.
