Yash has broken the record for the longest time in holding the scorpion position, or vrschikasana) for an incredible 29:04 minutes, breaking the previous record of 4:47 minutes. The scorpion pose is an advanced yoga position where you place your forearms on the ground and arch your legs over your head- 10 x Guinness World record holder in India.

Yash had been preparing for this day for around two years. He used the lockdown period to boost his skills. He then selected an iconic date for this attempt: Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022. When written in a specific format (2/22/22), it is a palindrome, as per the Guinness World Record.
In 2017, he completed his yoga teacher training course and chose yoga as his career. He wants to help people cope with their health issues and achieve their fitness goals.
