Her debut book, ‘Too Good to Be True ‘, is set to take the literary world by storm! Indian content creator turned actress Prajakta Koli is now an author. Though not published yet, she recently took to Instagram to ask her ‘DumDums’ for their opinion while finalizing the book cover for her forthcoming release.

From Scripts to Books:

Her journey from being an RJ to a successful content creator and now an author is a testament to her determination and passion. Born on 27 June 1993 in Thane, Prajakta’s career took a turn when she realized her true calling was not in radio but in creating comedy videos. Her channel, ‘Mostly Sane,’ launched on YouTube in February 2015, quickly gained popularity due to her energetic personality and family-friendly comedy content.

Her Love for Reading:

In the recent past, she began exploring her passion for reading fictional books and found herself engrossed in the thrill of enticing story plots for hours together. When she took to social media and posted a few short format videos on her experiences as a fiction reader, the response she received took her by surprise. Majority of her audience had similar reading experiences and found the videos relatable. Apart from this, she had also hit the chord with a new set of ‘book-stagram’ audience.

An Open Invitation To Authors:

At the beginning of 2024, Prajakta extended an open invitation on Instagram to all writers interested in romance fiction. She announced an ‘interesting project’ she was working on and expressed her desire to collaborate with like-minded writers. With her massive following on Instagram and YouTube, she received an overwhelming response, making the start of her writing journey even more exciting.

Her Struggles As An Author:

Prajakta soon realised the significant interest that people had in fiction books both through her personal experiences as well as her audience. After she often found herself immersed in books, experiencing characters that blurred the lines between reality and fiction, she decided to give it a try herself. Recently, she expressed her struggle as a writer through a reel she posted on Instagram, where she humorously expressed the writers block that she faced as a novice writer.

As fate had it, today, she has made massive progress, and the finish line seems closer than ever. She constantly updates her followers on Instagram through stories, and recently revealed the title of her forthcoming release, ‘Too Good to Be True’. She shared 4 book cover options, asking her dumdums to choose their favorite. As recently as yesterday, Prajakta took to Instagram and shared a ‘meet-cute’ idea that she had, via a reel. After seeing a glimpse of her writing in this genre, fans expressed their appreciation for her writing in the comments, with many eagerly awaiting her forthcoming release.  

Prajakta has pursued her talents and built a diversified career thus far. Be it creating innovative content, acting, or now writing professionally as an author, she continues to impress her audience and keeps them intrigued for more. Her book is expected to be released soon, and fans can’t wait!
