Bhuvan Bam Lodges FIR Over Deepfake Video Going Viral

Popular content creator and actor Bhuvan Bam has alerted his fans and followers over his deep fake video that is going viral on social media. He has taken the legal way and lodged an FIR at Oshiwara police station in Mumbai concerning his deepfake video. The complaint refers to how it is falsely representing him and urging people. Besides, to invest in tennis through a certain bookie’s predictions. The police are currently investigating the matter.

“This video is completely fake and misguided”

Addressing the issue, Bhuvan Bam urged his fans to be cautious and said, “I want to alert all my fans and followers about a deepfake video of me that is making rounds on social media. This video is completely fake and misguided, encouraging people to invest in tennis through predictions by a certain bookie. My team has already filed a complaint with the Oshiwara police station, and they are investigating the matter.”

“I humbly request everyone not to fall for this video. Please stay safe and avoid making any investments that might lead to trouble or financial loss. It’s crucial to be vigilant and not get trapped by these deceitful baits,” he added.

Apart from Bhuvan, many celebrities have previously fallen prey to deepfake Radhmika Mandanna, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif. Moreover, others facing similar issues and have spoken out against it.

On the work front, Bhuvan Bam confirmed ‘Dhindora 2’ and revealed that the script has almost been finalized. However, tagged it as a romance comedy drama around Titu mama and his life.
