Fitness Trainer Urvashi Agarwal Takes a Stand on Hygiene at Vada Pav Girl’s Stall
Urvashi Agarwal, an internationally certified fitness trainer known for inspiring many to lead healthy lifestyles, has garnered attention for her unfiltered reviews and eye-opening videos about restaurants, street food, and food labels. Recently, she took aim at the viral Vada Pav girl, Chandrika Dixit, for maintaining poor hygiene at her stall.
For those unfamiliar, Chandrika gained viral fame last year after a video showed her sobbing during a phone call with a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) official who threatened to shut down her stall. This incident catapulted her to overnight stardom, and she even participated in the controversial show Bigg Boss OTT 3.
“People are responsible for just supporting blindly and for buying her sob story! Open your eyes”
In a series of videos shared on Instagram, Urvashi highlighted how Chandrika, who charges Rs 50 per vada pav, neglects basic hygiene standards. One video shows Chandrika taking green chutney from a bucket in an unclean state. Urvashi captioned the video, “I am not against her earning money nor am I jealous of her fame. So drop these 2 allegations! I have shown videos where she cooks/handles food in an unhealthy way. Proof is right in front of everyone. Still want to eat her food? Please do eat! It’s a FREE WORLD!”
In another video, Urvashi points out how Chandrika does not wear gloves and handles food after wearing her shoes without washing her hands. Urvashi questions her followers, captioning her post, “Why do you stand in a queue for long hours to eat such dirty vada pav and then crib that it’s expensive or she gives only 4 vada pavs?” She adds, “People are responsible for just supporting blindly and for buying her sob story! Open your eyes!”
