Aruna Mucherla: South Indian Actress turned into an Influencer
“Hey, Good Morning Yeah!” Have you heard about Aruna Mucherla? She’s not just an actress but a versatile content creator who has successfully transitioned from the being an actress to an influencer. During the 1980s, the veteran acted in films in various languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Now, she’s all over social media!
Aruna was born in Kothagudem, Telangana and was brought up in Chennai and Hyderabad. Her debut in the Tamil film “Kallukkul Eeram” was released in 1980. She was paired up frequently with actor Vijayakanth in Sivappu Malli, Needhi Pizhaithathu, Sattam Sirikkiradhu and Kanalukku Karaiyethu with Shankar. She has played the second lead role and a supporting character in a few Tamil movies and has worked in various other South Indian films.
But Aruna’s life isn’t just about the Spotlight. She’s a wife, a mother of four daughters, and a grandmother. Her personal life adds a relatable touch to her content. Now she’s known as “The Gran of the Gram!”

She shares healthy food recipes, such as spicy Bhindi masala and a simple spinach dal, cooking in a mud pot, healthy banana chips, kitchen hacks, and natural shampoo and conditioner.
