Ridergirl Vishakha Fulsunge's Journey to Moto-Vlogging Success

Vishakha Fulsunge, also known as @ridergirlvishakha, is a passionate biker who turned her love for riding into a successful career as a moto vlogger. Despite facing criticism from both her family and the industry, she rose above the negativity to become a source of inspiration through her adventurous lifestyle. Let’s take a peek at her journey to becoming a unique creator in motovlogging in India.

Realization of a Childhood Dream

As a teenager, Vishakha would sneak out with her father’s Lambretta to practice stunts on borrowed bikes. Despite her mother’s disapproval due to frequent injuries, Vishakha was initially interested in drag and circuit racing. She later shifted focus due to the lack of opportunities and the high costs associated with the sport. However, with a few twists and turns along the way, she realized her childhood dream of becoming a motorcycle rider.

Vishakha’s journey began with her first long ride through the windy ghats of Lonavala, where she wore borrowed gear and rode in heavy rain with her mother cheering her up. A few years later, she set a record by riding 1,800 kilometers nonstop from Mumbai to Vishakhapatnam.

Now, she is recognized in the India Book of Records as the first woman to ride to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and as the first and fastest woman to complete the Narmada Parikrama.

Transition to Solo Riding

Vishakha initially participated in group rides but soon realized she preferred riding alone. Inspired by foreign women moto vloggers, she transitioned from static bike videos to proper moto vlogs. She eventually became India’s first female motovlogger with 1.1 million YouTube subscribers.

This moto-vlogger lives in Mumbai and works hard to improve her life and fulfill her dreams. She describes herself as resourceful and proactive. At 23, she worked multiple shifts and anchoring gigs to purchase her own motorbike, a KTM 390 Duke named Kashish.

Dual Passions: Biking and Gaming

In addition to her love for biking, Vishakha is also an avid gamer. She runs two popular YouTube channels: GamerGirl and RiderGirlVishakha, where she shares her adventures in both biking and gaming. Her moto vlogs capture the excitement of each new journey she embarks on, earning her recognition in five Indian record books. Beyond her travel stories and content creation, Vishakha is also an animal rights activist.

Life as a Solo Female Rider

Life as a solo female rider in the country is not an easy feat. She has often shared how she faces challenges such as safety concerns and finding places to stay during solo rides. Being a gusty rider, she makes sure to be as self-sufficient as possible. Vishakha always carries a toolkit and is trained to repair her own bike, including fixing punctures and broken clutch cables. She now trains young girls to ride and motovlog, believing that knowledge should be carried forward to keep the legacy alive. Despite facing challenges in managing her time schedule while vlogging, she has continued to pursue her passion.

Vishakha Fulsunge has been persistently pursuing her motovlogging life for five years and the creator is only likely to grow further as we follow her journey.
