Mentos Teams Up with Orry for a Burst of Freshness

Orry endorses Mentos. Reelstars

When nostalgia collides with contemporary internet sensation, magic happens. Mentos, the beloved packaged candy brand, has resurrected the iconic ‘Yeh hai Aam Zindagi. Yeh hai Mentos Zindagi’ ads in a surprising collaboration with none other than the internet sensation Orry.

In a captivating looped video shared on Instagram, Orry’s life takes center stage as he grapples with the monotony of back-to-back interviews and podcasts, a consequence of his newfound fame. The video, set against the backdrop of a Ghazal-style rendition of ‘Aam Zindagi, Routine mein phasi,’ beautifully captures Orry’s frustration.

Mentos – Orry Style!

Then comes the twist – two packs of Mentos strategically placed on the interviewee’s desk. Orry, finding solace in a strawberry-flavored Mentos, experiences an instant burst of freshness and enthusiasm. The scene transforms, and we witness Orry gracing magazine covers in his signature style, accompanied by the lyrics ‘Mentos Kha Liya, Bani Mast Zindagi.’

These magazine covers not only mirror Orry’s rise to fame but also encapsulate the buzz and chatter surrounding the internet sensation. Mentos, known for infusing humor into its advertising campaigns, successfully intertwines its iconic freshness with Orry’s infectious energy.

Orry, a viral sensation with a significant presence in advertising and appearances on reality shows like Bigg Boss and Koffee With Karan, emerges as the ideal ambassador for a brand targeting the youth and Gen Z audience.

The brains behind the campaign

The mastermind behind this ingenious campaign is Schbang, responsible for both execution and conceptualization. The 30-second Instagram ad featuring Orry is part of Mentos’ broader strategy to collaborate with young internet personalities and stars.

This collaboration follows previous successful iterations with Bollywood actor Palak Tiwari and singer Jasleen Royal. Both instances share a common theme – celebrities breaking free from the monotony of daily life by indulging in a Mentos to refresh and uplift their spirits. Mentos, once again, proves that it knows the perfect recipe for injecting a burst of vibrancy into ordinary routines.
