Sony LIV’s Maharani 3
After receiving a great response for the first two seasons, Maharani season 3 which released on 7 March on Sony LIV, continues to win hearts. The third season grips with its interesting twists and turns. Huma Qureshi as Rani Bharti delivers a very controlled and balanced performance. With its well-crafted characters, intense political drama, and stellar performances, the series is a must watch!
About Maharani: The story of Maharani revolves around Huma Qureshi’s character Rani Bharti who has no choice but to sit on the throne after her husband and politician Bheema Bharti is sent to jail. In the third season, Rani embarks on a mission to prove her innocence to the people of her constituency and, most importantly, to her family.

Disney+ Hotstar’s Showtime
Dharmatic Entertainment’s Showtime is all about glitz and glamour from the world of the film industry with Emraan Hashmi essaying the role of a studio head. The series premiered on 8 March and is a binge-able show.
About: The series delves into the dynamics of legacy and ambition, offering viewers an intimate look into the concealed realities of Bollywood. Set against the backdrop of the industry’s underbelly, the series explores themes of nepotism and power struggles.

Lootere is a much-awaited web series that marks the directorial debut of filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s son Jai Mehta. It is all set to grip you with its captivating story starting 22 March, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
About: ‘Lootere’ carries on director Hansal Mehta’s saga of telling stories based on real-life characters or incidents. The story revolves around the lives of The Jadhavs, who migrated from Bihar to Molo in Kenya but were caught in the fierce ethnic conflicts in the country.
Cast: Rajat Kapoor, Vivek Gomber, Amruta Khanvilkar, Aamir Ali.
ZEE5’s Sunflower 2
Sunflower’s second season premiered on March 1. Sunil Grover, Adah Sharma, and Girish Kulkarni are said to be crowd-pullers. The reviewer also credits director Navin Gujral for the amount of detailing that has gone into each character and the premise of the story. With its stellar cast, engaging storyline, and the perfect blend of humor and suspense, Sunflower season 2 is a must watch.
About: Season 2 of Sunflower continues the investigation into Mr. Kapoor’s (Ashwin Kaushal) death, with a majority of the residents and frequent visitors coming under suspicion and being interrogated.

Prime Video’s BGDC
BGDC (Big Girls Don’t Cry) stars Pooja Bhatt, half-sister of superstar Alia Bhatt, in the lead role. The web series, which has been created by Nithya Mehra and co-produced by Ashi Dua and Karan Kapadia, will revolve around the strong bonds of sisterhood formed between the young women who meet at a fictional boarding school. It is slated to release on 14 March.
About: BGDC is friendships, bonds, and sisterhood formed between seven free-spirited girls as they journey through their formative years of life together, living by a code of their own, #BGDC.
