American Youtuber IShowSpeed Calls Virat Kohli’s Son Akaay ‘Potential GOAT’
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and wife and actress Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their son on February 15 with a statement that read, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love. we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay / अकाय & Vamika’s little brother into & Vamika’s little brother into this world! We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude.”
Ever since, social media has been flooded with congratulatory wishes by fans.
American YouTuber IShowSpeed (Darren Jason Watkins Jr.), known for being an avid cricket buff and also a big fan of Virat Kohli as well as footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, reacted by calling Virat and Anushka’s baby – Kohli Jr.
IShowSpeed initially misunderstood Virat’s son Akaay’s birth announcement as that of twins, thinking Vamika and Akaay were born on the same date. He later jokingly suggested naming the baby as Kohli Jr, just like Ronaldo Jr. IShowSpeed also said Akaay would be a potential GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).

Akaay means shining moon in Turkish and in Sanskrit, it means ‘immortal’ or something that doesn’t decay.
Virat Kohli took a sabbatical from the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England. His absence was later extended for the remainder of the series, following the joyous birth announcement on February 15.
Virat and Anushka tied the knot in 2017. Their first child, Vamika, was born in 2021, and the couple has since been very private about their family life. The announcement of their second child, Akaay, has once again brought joy and excitement to their fans and well-wishers around the world.
