Anil Kapoor Asks Munawar Faruqui ‘To Go Home’ Amid Bigg Boss OTT 3 Launch
Rapper, stand-up comedian, and reality show Lock Upp season 1 and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui hosted Bigg Boss OTT 3’s launch event yesterday in Mumbai. The newly married Munawar looked all happy and seemed to want to rush home early. We aren’t the ones saying this, the ‘forever young’ and ‘jhakaas’ personality of Bollywood Anil Kapoor told this to Mr. Faruqui.
Well, the excitement has reached its peak from the time Anil Kapoor came on board to host Bigg Boss OTT season 3, taking over from Salman Khan. The promo of the reality show featuring AK has left viewers stunned!
Tu ghar chala ja!
Yesterday, at the launch Mr Kapoor looked all kicked. Besides, was looking forward to answering each question thrown at him by the media. However, after a point, Munawar requested the media to end the Q&A session. In response, Anil Kapoor promptly intervened, effectively shutting down Faruqui’s request. AK said, “Let them ask questions, what is the hurry?” to which Munawar replied, “I want to go home”. AK responded, “Tu ghar chala ja (you go home), the press conference has now gotten intense. Until now it was scripted and now it is unscripted.” Hearing this everyone in the auditorium started clapping.
I like to stay away from controversies
Later, Munawar asked Anil Kapoor how he would deal with the contestants and controversies. He replied, “If someone crosses a line, I’ll have to be fair and firm. There would be a few things, that would be controversial in Bigg Boss and they might be uncomfortable as well. Furthermore, but all these things happen and that happens in life too. How you handle it is important.”
When AK asked Munawar the same, he replied, “I like to stay away from controversies.” Later, Munawar revealed that Bigg Boss is not scripted. Furthermore, had it been scripted he wouldn’t have been part of the show. However, he said, “Bigg Boss scripted nahi hai, aur mai uska example hu. Agar show scripted hota toh mai thodi khud ki band bajwata.”
