Anushka Sen To Star In Prime Video’s Dil Dosti Dilemma
Actor and social media influencer Anushka Sen, still remembered for her portrayal of Meher in the children fantasy show, Baal Veer and Manikarnika Rao/Rani Lakshmi Bai in the historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani, will soon star in a new OTT project.
She will be seen in Dil Dosti Dilemma, a series that forms part of Prime Video ‘s recently unveiled line-up with close to 70 series and movies with most of them premiering on the service over the next 2 years.
The series explores the self-discovery journey of a young girl Asmara, who is sent to her grandparents’ place, as part of a punishment. She keeps up appearances by lying to her friends that she is in Canada. However, the journey soon finds a purpose when Asmara experiences life lessons and growth in her traditional roots.
Apart from Anushka Sen, the series stars an ensemble cast including Tanvi Azmi, Shishir Sharma, Suhasini Mulay, Khush Jotwani, Vishakha Pandey, Revathi Pillai, and Elisha Mayor in lead roles. The show is helmed by Debbie Rao for 10 Years Younger Productions.
Anushka shared a couple of pictures from the event, looking ravishing in black. She is seen posing with co-star Khush Jotwani and director Debbie Rao.
For the unversed, Anushka started her acting career at a young age and became an inspiration to many for her dedication and the drive to achieve great heights. She is a fashion icon to many and also a globetrotter. She is currently part of the Korean Entertainment industry and carving her name on the global entertainment scene as well, having been appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of Korean Tourism. She has shot for a Korean film, a web show and also a travel series.
