He even won the Best New Actor Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2009 for his stellar performance in the show. The role of the spoilt yet kind “chaebol” heir not only stole hearts worldwide. However, also introduced countless viewers to the captivating world of Korean dramas. Many fans fondly remember “Boys Over Flowers” as their gateway to the rich tapestry of K-dramas.
