Big Update On Elvish Yadav’s Snake Venom Case

YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav walked out of jail after getting bail in his snake venom case. He was allegedly accused of supplying snake venom to rave parties. He was sent to 14 days of judicial custody under the Wildlife Protection Act. Later, it was reported that the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic) Act, which was also imposed in the case, was waived off as it was a clerical mistake. On 23 March, Elvish Yadav got bailed and he returned home.

However, as per the latest updates, it looks like Elvish has found himself in a new trouble!

According to the reports, the chargesheet stated that Elvish Yadav was in touch with snake charmers and that a poisonous snake along with 20 milliliters of venom from the Krait species were recovered from the location. Also, Elvish made use of a virtual phone number to arrange the supply of snake venom.

Details in chargesheet

As per NDTV, the chargesheet, which includes statements from 24 witnesses and identifies eight accused, provides startling information about how the YouTuber allegedly set up venom for parties. According to Noida police, he did this using a virtual phone number. More anonymity is offered by a virtual number, which is unrelated to a place or gadget.

Elvish’s phone sent to forensic laboratory

Reportedly, Elvish would use the virtual number to contact his friend Vinay while planning a party that required venom. After that, Vinay would tell Ishwar, who would then tell the snake charmers. Thus, the snake charmers would bring their snakes to the party site. Vinay’s call history has records of Elvish’s virtual number, according to the police.

For the uninitiated, on November 2023, Elvish Yadav was booked by the Noida Police for allegedly using snake venom at a rave party. The police had found 20 ml of snake venom, additionally, they recovered five cobras, a python, two two-headed snakes, and a rat snake. Yadav was questioned for around two hours by the Noida police for several hours. Based on a complaint filed by the People For Animals (PFA) organization, the Noida police raided a banquet hall located in Sector 51 and arrested five people, Rahul, Titunath, Jaikaran, Narayan and Ravinath.
