Dhruv Shah-The Reelstars

Dhruv Shah, one-half of the popular comedy duo “Funcho,” is a prominent content creator in the Indian digital space. Along with his partner, Shyam Sharma, Dhruv has become well-known for crafting humorous and relatable content that resonates deeply with audiences, particularly the youth.

Dhruv recently celebrated a significant milestone—purchasing his dream home in Mumbai. He shared the joyous news with his followers by posting pictures from his new house, where he performed a traditional puja ceremony alongside his wife and family members. In his post, simply captioned “Ghar,” Dhruv gave fans a glimpse of this special moment. Take a look!

About Dhruv Shah

Dhruv Shah’s journey in content creation began with Shyam Sharma when they co-founded “Funcho.” Both engineers by profession, the duo quickly rose to fame with their comedic skits that often highlight everyday situations, relationships, and the idiosyncrasies of Indian society. Their sharp wit, playful banter, and undeniable chemistry have made Funcho a beloved name in the Indian content community.

The 29-year-old Dhruv Shah and Shyam Sharma have collaborated with big names like Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, and even the Mumbai Indians cricket team. In November 2022, DJ Snake invited Funcho to join his India tour, a testament to their growing influence. The duo also made it to Forbes India’s list of India’s Top 100 Digital Stars, where they ranked 12th.

To celebrate reaching a 1 million audience milestone, Funcho performed a live play at B N Vaidya Hall in Dadar East, Mumbai, drawing a crowd of 500 fans from Maharashtra and neighboring states. However, their journey hasn’t been without challenges. In 2018, they were arrested and sentenced to clean a railway station for three days after making a viral Kiki challenge video on a moving train.

Social Media Family

Funcho initially gained traction on YouTube and Instagram, where their short, humorous videos quickly went viral. Their ability to connect with the audience through content that is both hilarious and relatable has helped them build a large and loyal fan base. Over time, they have expanded their reach by collaborating with other creators and brands, solidifying their position in the digital entertainment industry. With over 2.8 million followers on Instagram and 3.9 million subscribers on YouTube, Dhruv and Shyam continue to win hearts as mood boosters with their hilarious and relatable content.
