e4m Golden Mikes Awards 2024: Naved and Rahul Makin voted RJ Influencers Of The Year

 The recently concluded e4m Golden Mike Awards 2024 honoured and recognized brilliance in the radio and audio industry in India. Among the diverse categories was the one for “Influencer RJ of the Year.” Big FM’s RJ Naved and Fever’s Rahul Makin walked away with the honours.

RJ Naved urf Naved Khan is from Bugrasi, Uttar Pradesh and moved to Delhi for further studies. He’s an entertainer cum roaster. Naved’s content is based on roasting people over a phone call by acting as someone they already know. He is also a TV host, voice-over artist, and radio jockey. Furthermore, famous for his show ‘Dilli ka Don’ on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. He has won the IRF: Best Sparkler (Comedy) award three times, the NT (National Television Award) for 2G (TV category), the Golden Mikes Award for RJ of the Year, and the Indian Icon Award. At the e4m Golden Mikes, he was awarded silver in the RJ Influencer of the Year category.

Recently, RJ Naved was featured in Paisabazaar’s brand film Aawaaz. Similarly, Their brand philosophy was ‘Paison Se Badhkar.’ In the film, he goes on a road trip with a group of visually impaired children across Munnar’s scenic and winding roads. Moreover, making them imagine the scenery with his evocative voice.

RJ Rahul Makin works with Delhi’s 107.2 Punjabi Fever. He is an Indian radio jockey, actor, and influencer from Jammu, India. However, He studied English and Physics, which led to his master’s thesis in literature. He is a poet, known on Instagram as a “Shredded Shayar,” who also dabbles in theatre.

This RJ aka Love Guru, hosts a nightly show that has him answering listener’s queries about their love life. 

With over 14 years of experience as a RJ, he holds the Limca Book Of Records for hosting a radio show for 104 hours consistently. Furthermore, A three-timer TEDx speaker, he has worked with UNICEF on their Campaign Radio4Child for teenagers against cyber abuse. 

Rahul has been awarded RJ of The Year by the All Journalists’ Association Of India and won two NYF (NewYork Festival) awards for the best radio show on gay rights and for creating a ‘Green Corridor’ on Radio for the first time.

Rahul has collaborated with several national and international brands like Redbull India, Jag’s Fresh, Lush Treetas to name a few. Moreover, He has done promotions for many local and regional businesses as well.
