Ed Sheeran Goes Desi In The Great Indian Kapil Show; Watch Teaser

One can expect a pack of entertainment when the world of comedy and music collide under one roof. Such was the sight when comedian and actor Kapil Sharma met English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran on the sets of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show.

Yes, International artist and 4-time Grammy winner Ed Sheeran was the recent guest to appear in Kapil Sharma’s show.

On Wednesday, Netflix shared the new teaser from the upcoming episode, which shows Kapil Sharma having a blast with the Grammy-winner. From singing a desi song about Indian food to talking about meeting Shah Rukh Khan at his house in Mannat, the episode promised to be a fun ride.

However Ed Sheeran was in India for his tour and performed in front of live audience along with Diljit Dosanjh and Armaan Malik at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai on March 16. This is Ed’s second tour in India after six years. His previous blockbuster tour was Divide Tour in 2017.

Moreover In March this year, the singer met Shah Rukh Khan and the duo recreated SRK’s signature pose. Moreover SRK and Ed Sheeran shared a collaborative post on Instagram and it won the Internet’s heart. The video was captioned, “This is the Shape of Us. Spreading love together…”

Kapil Sharma’s friendly meeting with Ed Sheeran

Even Kapil had hosted a grand party for Ed. The party was attended by Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Archana Pooran Singh, and Munawar Faruqui, among several others. On meeting Ed Sheeran, Kapil also took to his Gram and wrote, “We always love your songs @teddysphotos but after meeting you we love you more ❤️ 🧸 you are a sweetheart 🫶Can’t wait to show the World the humorous side of yours 🫶 lots of love n best wishes always my friend ❤️🙏”
