Chahatt Khanna Chats with The Reelstars:

How do you manage to keep your social media game up to date?

I keep it simple! I treat my social media like a job, aiming for consistency. I shoot content once or twice a month and prefer to keep everything organic—no fake followers for me! When you focus on being authentic, your account will naturally reach the right audience.

What is your social media mantra?

Consistency is key. Staying true to your niche is essential. That’s my secret sauce, and I think everyone should give it a shot.

Who are your favourite social media influencers?

Honestly, I don’t have any favourites. No offense intended, but I haven’t come across an influencer who resonates with me personally.

But would you like to collaborate with anybody in the future?

I’m not holding my breath for that day to come!

What is the most difficult aspect of social media for you?

The whole “show-off” vibe is pretty misleading. It’s essential to disconnect and not get swept away by the allure. I create my content, post it, and then step away. If I do pick up my phone, I’m just scrolling through funny videos to get a laugh—not getting caught up in anyone’s drama.

If you could be a content creator, what would you like to cover?

Well, I’m already a content creator and an actor, so I’m living that life! But if I had the freedom, I’d love to dive into spiritual topics. They can get a bit spicy, so I play it safe for now!

What advice would you give to someone looking to build a strong and authentic social media presence, especially in a competitive space like the entertainment industry?

The entertainment biz and social media? Totally different ballgames! They go hand in hand, but you’ve got to know the difference. Focus on what you love and don’t get caught up in the follower count. Stay true to yourself, and your engagement will shine!

How do you incorporate brand collaboration into your social media posts without compromising your authenticity?

I’m an actor first, so when a brand connects with me that I vibe with, I go for it. If it feels right, I promote it! It’s straightforward—no fancy tricks here. I just steer clear of anything that doesn’t align with my values.

What is the misconception people have about you based on your social media presence, and how would you like to address it?

There’s a significant disconnect between my social media persona and my true self. People often think I’m this glamorous diva, but I’m just a down-to-earth girl who loves her comfy kurta and pyjamas! My true personality is quite different from the glamorous image folks see online.

How do you deal with online negativity or trolling? What advice would you give to others facing similar challenges?

Honestly, I don’t sweat the online negativity too much. Just block and report! Remember, trolls usually come out when you’re doing something awesome. So, take it all in stride and keep a positive attitude!
