Fans Upset Over Panchayat Season 3 Guess Game
Panchayat Season 3 is gearing up for its highly anticipated online release. Well, the wait is over as Amazon Prime Video has revealed the third season’s release date but with a twist! Well, the makers have decided to keep fans on their toes with a playful guessing game. The series, known for its witty portrayal of a young urbanite navigating rural life, has garnered a dedicated following.
On Monday, Amazon Prime Video teased the OTT release date of the upcoming season with a clever twist. The streaming service shared a cryptic message, accompanied by a teaser video designed to keep fans intrigued.
In the video, ‘Panchayat’ fame Jitendra Kumar gave a fun game to the fans where they had to keep removing ‘Lauki’ (bottle gourd) to disclose the release date of the series.
He captioned the video, “Sahi suna aapne! Bas yeh ek step karne se jaan jaoge aap season 3 ki date, toh jaldi click the link in bio aur hatao saare laukiyon ko!”
Take a look!
However, the guessing game has left the fans frustrated. Fans are first asked to click on a link and then ask you “Laukiyon ke peeche kya hai? (What’s behind the laukis?)”
Later, when you click on the next page, you’ll be asked to share this twisted game with your friends and return in 15 minutes to remove another lauki.
They have a scanner popping up with it but when fans tried the scanner, it showed ‘access blocked’. Fans are now irritated with the constant teasing and want the makers to reveal it at once.
One of the fans wrote, “Ab kuch jayada ho gya bhai.” Another user commented, “Prime ko unfollow karne ka time aa gaya hai.” Some fans say that the show will release on May 17 while some feel it is May 20. A few also said that it would be released on May 28. However, a few feel the show is releasing in May itself.
The Panchayat cast spearheaded by Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav, delivers outstanding performances, breathing life into their characters with depth and authenticity. It tells the story of an engineering graduate who, facing limited job options, decides to become a Panchayat secretary in the made-up rural village of Phulera in Uttar Pradesh
