From Snake Venom Case To Slapping A Man, The ‘Controversial’ Elvish Yadav

Popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who gained enormous popularity after he was adjudged winner of Bigg Boss OTT season 2, has now become synonymous with controversies. In the span of a year, Elvish has made headlines but for all the wrong reasons.

Elvish is currently making headlines for slapping a man at a restaurant in Jaipur. A video, which has gone viral, shows Elvish getting into a brawl with a man sitting in a restaurant. The clip shows Elvish slapping the man and then storming out of the restaurant.

Earlier, in November 2023, Elvish was booked by the Noida police for allegedly using snake venom at a rave party. The police  recovered 20 ml of snake venom, along with  five cobras, a python, two two-headed snakes, and a rat snake. Elvish Yadav was questioned for around two hours by the Noida police. Based on a complaint filed by the People For Animals (PFA) organisation, the Noida police raided a banquet hall located in Sector 51 and arrested five people, Rahul, Titunath, Jaikaran, Narayan and Ravinath.

Recently, Elvish again hit the headlines when he referred to social media sensation Kusha Kapila as ‘sasti Kareena Kapoor.’  This statement of Elvish didn’t go down well with Kusha, who responded highlighting the importance of consent, stating that Elvish did not have the right to use Kareena Kapoor Khan’s name without her permission. She emphasised Kareena’s status as the rightful owner of her own identity and criticised the appropriation of her name.

In October last year, Elvish Yadav revealed that he had received an extortion call in which he was asked for INR 1 crore, following which he filed a complaint at the Gurugram police station.

Elvish Yadav hails from Gurugram. He enjoys immense popularity ever since his YouTube debut. He has two YouTube channels, with about 16.1 and 7.77 million subscribers on respective accounts.
