Gear Up For Bobby Deol Starrer Aashram With Season 4

One of the most anticipated and well-praised series Aashram is soon returning with season 4.

Yes, season 4 marks the continuation of the Indian web series. Debuting in August 2020 on MX Player, an Indian streaming service, Aashram revolves around Baba Nirala (played by Bobby Deol), a self-proclaimed guru with a large following of devoted individuals. However, Baba harbours a dark secret—he is a complete fraud, exploiting his followers’ money for personal luxuries and to wield influence in local politics. On the other side of the narrative is SI Ujagar Singh (portrayed by Darshan Kumar), a disillusioned police officer who uncovers a murder that pits him against Baba and his followers.

The political thriller features Bobby Deol alongside Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Vikram Kochhar, Esha Gupta, Tridha Choudhary, Kanupriya Gupta, Preeti Sood, Navdeep Tomar, and Ayaan Aditya, in pivotal roles.

Bobby Deol, the star of Aashram, released a trailer for Aashram season 4 on his Instagram with the hashtags “#Aashram4 ” and “#TeaserOutNow”. This was posted on June 3, 2022, the same date that season 3 premiered, and served as both advertising for season 3 and a hint at what is yet to come.

In December 2020, Jodhpur Court had served a legal notice to Bobby Deol and director Prakash Jha after Karni Sena filed a case on the actor and the director for hurting their sentiments and stated that the show “is an attempt to discredit Hinduism and Ashrams”. In 2021, the Bajrang Dal group targeted Aashram web series sets and Prakash Jha for defaming Hindus and the entire aashram system, through his web series, whereas the sets were vandalised by the group. Later, Bobby Deol supported Jha and stated that the show is not about defaming anyone and as an actor nothing else matters.

Apart from Aashram 4, Bobby Deol will be seen in Housefull 5, Kanguva, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Shlok: The Desi Sherlock, Apne 2, Penthouse and NBK 109.
