Post Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande signs on film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’
After having a successful stint in Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande has signed her next project. The actress has given a nod to an upcoming film.
Yes, not on the small screen but Ankita will soon begin shooting for Randeep Hooda’s upcoming film titled ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.’
An elated Lokhande made the official announcement on her Instagram handle. She shared a teaser of the film and wrote, “Bringing light to the lost leader from the chapters of history! Starting a new chapter, right after BB17 feels extra special… Grateful to be a part of this project alongside @RandeepHooda, produced by @anandpandit63 @ZeeStudios_ Don’t miss out on the date, 22nd March 2024 in your nearby theatres,”.

As per reports, Randeep Hooda’s forthcoming directorial debut, ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,’ is slated to release in cinemas on March 22. Veer Savarkar is an indomitable figure in India’s fight for freedom. The film embarks on a compelling odyssey, bringing to life the legendary yet neglected tale of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar – a visionary, and a firebrand.
It is backed by Zee Studios, Anand Pandit, Randeep Hooda, Sandeep Singh and Yogesh Rahar. Besides Randeep and Ankita, the film also stars Amit Sial.
