The most awaited 8-part Netflix series Heeramandi by none other than the master of cinematic brilliance Sanjay Leela Bhansali is finally here & we are sure it is going to be a visual treat for everyone.

If there is someone who gets Indian aesthetics spot on, it has to be him, hands down, no questions asked, you can go argue with the wall.

Film after film Bhansali gave us audiences characters that are not only remembered for their acting but also for their nuanced style. Each one is carefully carved with a fashion aesthetic that has inspired a whole generation & will continue to inspire the future ones.

We cannot stop thinking of how some of our favourite ReelStars have given us Bhansalisthetic (it is high time someone comes up with a word for his Cinematic Aesthetic).

Gangubai grew up to strong & Fierce yet carried herself with unmatch grace & attitude.

Dressed in white Gangu called herself Chand (moon) & this look on Ishita gets close to a modern take on Gangu’s style. The white sari & the half-moon detailing, this can easily qualify as the Gangu Look.

Heeramandi (The Diamond Bazaar) just released & the pre-release glimpses were enough to get fans excited. Moreover, this show will be the best weekend treat to binge-watch.

We are sure it will give many more iconic characters, and awe-inspiring looks. And to set trends that will last a long, long time. Besides, maybe someone will soon come up with a more suitable word for the Bhansali Aesthetic, till then we will stick with Bhansalisthetic.
