Influencers Stealing The Show At India Couture Week 2024

india couture week - the reelstars

The biggest fashion week in India, The India Couture Week 2024 is nearing its grand finale. Each day the biggest designers of India showcased their couture collections and left the attendees spellbound. The 17th edition of FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week has witnessed creations that showcase a unique amalgamation of Indian traditional techniques & contemporary aesthetics.

Throughout the week, the shows were attended by fashion enthusiasts who couldn’t stop gushing over the collections. Many of our favourite fashion girlies were also in attendance. Here are some of them who were dressed their best by the designers.

Tina Kakkad – (Instagram @TheImageCode)

Dressed in a Roseroom by Isha Jajodia Saree, Tina looks ethereal. All-lace is not an easy silhouette to pull off, but Tina aced this look. The overall styling & glam are giving this desi girl-coded look an international appeal. As she captioned her picture and we couldn’t agree more, there is a certain “JE NE SAIS QUOI” about this look at India Couture Week 2024.

Prerna Mehra – (Instagram @TheGirlinskyhighheels)

The insanely beaded bustier & draped floor-length skirt in red should be the new IT girl uniform & Prerna embodies the vibe to the T. The contrast of earrings & statement bag adds the right amount of accessorising to this Suneet Varma ensemble.

Natasha Luthra – (Instagram @natasha.luthra)

Amit Aggarwal’s show this year left everyone speechless. While everyone loves Indian embroidery, there is a special appreciation for Amit’s work with fabric. Natasha dressed in the designer’s outfits, looks bold in one of Amit’s statement silhouettes.

Hanna Khan – (Instagram @Hannaskhan)

Surreal was the collection showcased by Rahul Mishra, & Hanna, dressed in this exquisite art piece by Rahul, is the definition of it. Hanna looks like a supermodel in this Rahul-esque number, an absolute head-turner. The polished glam & her bag are taking her overall look a notch higher.

Sakshi Sindwani – (Instagram @StylemeupwithSakshi)

If there is one fashionista who was seen more on the ramp & less in the front row, it has to be Sakshi (rather, the only one). One of the most awaited shows of this season saw Sakshi once again walking for Gaurav Gupta. Dressed in a maroon lehenga, Sakshi looked like the perfect muse. The only question is why does Sakshi’s insta bio not say, Supermodel yet?

It has been a super hectic week for all the fashion lovers (No complaints). Show after show, the couturiers built a fantasy world that gave us fairytales to Avant-Garde collections. This year the finale designers are Falguni & Shane Peacock, which only adds to the excitement of seeing the collection & the attendees!
