Viral 'Kulhad Pizza' Couple Moves to UK After Facing Threats in Punjab

Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur, the couple known for serving pizza in traditional clay cups (kulhads) in Jalandhar, Punjab, have reportedly moved to the United Kingdom with their son. The move comes after several months of online harassment and threats that affected both their personal lives and business.

The couple first became well-known for their unique food business in Jalandhar.

However, they soon faced a series of problems. Their troubles began when they posted a photo with an air rifle, which led to a police case about promoting gun culture. Though they were released on bail, this incident brought them unwanted attention.

The situation got worse when a former employee at their restaurant leaked private videos of the couple online. At first, Sehaj and Gurpreet said the videos were fake, but when another video appeared, they filed a police complaint. The police arrested their former employee, Tanisha Verma, and started an investigation.

The couple also faced problems with Nihang Sikhs, who protested outside their restaurant.

According to news reports, the Nihangs wanted Sehaj to either give up his turban or stop posting videos with his wife on social media. They claimed the leaked videos were having a bad effect on children. They also warned the couple to remove all their social media content. While the police helped handle the immediate situation, the threats didn’t stop, and the couple had to ask the High Court for protection.

During these problems, some people thought Sehaj and Gurpreet might be getting divorced when they unfollowed each other on social media. However, these rumors were wrong, as the couple has now moved to the UK together with their child. They also dealt with Gurpreet’s Instagram account being hacked during this time.

The Kulhad Pizza couple’s story shows how quickly social media fame can lead to unexpected problems, and how online harassment can affect people’s real lives and businesses.
