Kumanan attended Thyagaraya Nagar High School in Chennai and completed a Bachelor of Technology at Annamalai University. He began his professional journey as a Service Engineer at Dyanora Television Company in Chennai, eventually advancing to the position of Branch Manager in Visakhapatnam.
