With the Pran Prathishtha ceremony at newly built Ayodhya Ram Mandir finally happening today, the whole country is abuzz with excitement and religious fervour.

Influencers like Harshvardhan Verma “Ayodhyawale” offer a front-seat to witness the revered event. As these influencers amplify the Ram Temple’s significance, delve into Ayodhya’s history, and traverse its ancient tales, they’re tapping into a massive audience. Whether sharing captivating visuals or intertwining historical snippets with Bollywood flair, these influencers are shaping a new digital pilgrimage to Ayodhya.

While most of these influencers haven’t monetized their accounts, they have easily gained a large following by catering to the crowd. It took “Ayodhyawale” only 1,203 days to reach one million subscribers on Instagram, and then just 61 days to touch the figure of 2.3 million.

Harshvardhan Verma has been documenting the project since the temple’s foundation was laid on 5th August 2020. “The Ram Mandir bhumi pujan day was when this idea came to me. Ayodhya has many temples which people don’t know about. I wanted to show people the real Ayodhya,” he told The Quint.

The travel vlogger from Assam is one of many influencers who undertook the yatra to Ayodhya before the inauguration of the temple and have been documenting on their Instagram.
