Dhruv Rathee's Latest Video Raises Questions About Voter List Concerns

Popular content creator Dhruv Rathee has released a detailed analysis of recent voter list controversies in his latest video and it raises a lot of concerns.

Voter List Investigation

In his latest video, Rathee examines claims of voter list tampering ahead of the Delhi Assembly election scheduled for February 5. The video highlights several concerning cases, including that of Mumbai-based documentary director Simantini Dhuru, who discovered her name had been deleted from electoral rolls despite having received a new voter ID card in December 2023.

The analysis comes amid ongoing discussions about voter list accuracy. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi recently raised concerns about the addition of 10,500 new voters to the New Delhi Assembly constituency between December 15 and January 2, in a constituency of one lakh voters.

Rathee’s investigation points to specific instances that warrant attention. He discusses the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha seat, where he notes that 32,706 voters were removed from lists months before an election that was decided by just 2,678 votes. He particularly focuses on the Aliganj constituency, where he reports significant voter deletions in areas with considerable Yadav and Muslim populations.

While election officials maintain that proper verification processes are in place, with Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar stating that deletions require documentation and field verification, Rathee’s video suggests the need for closer scrutiny of these processes.

Meanwhile, Rathee has recently attracted some mocking from netizens for his cold plunge video.

In lighter news, Rathee has also caught attention for his cold plunge video, where he takes a dip in -10°C snow wearing just boxers. The clip, which includes safety warnings about hypothermia and frostbite risks, has sparked comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent -20°C winter swim.

Rathee frames the activity as a personal motivation technique while emphasizing the importance of proper precautions for such extreme temperature exposure. However, he’s received quite a bit of mocking in the comments section where netizens claim “Bro’s trying to copy ronaldo!”

While he’s focused on political content, Rathee seems to be enjoying his life in Europe too.
