Sidhu Moosewala-The Reelstars

For the past few days, there has been news about late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and his 58-years-old mother Charan Kaur, who is reportedly expecting twins with husband Balkaur Singh.

Balkaur Singh has now dismissed rumours around his wife’s pregnancy. This clarification comes amidst widespread speculation and chatter on social media platforms. The family has categorically denied these claims, stating them to be entirely false. They have urged the public to refrain from spreading such baseless rumors and to respect their privacy during this challenging time.

Sidhu Moosewala’s Dad Breaks Silence On Wife’s Pregnancy

On Tuesday, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh took to his Facebook account and shared that several “rumours” around their family have been making headlines. He urged everyone not to believe in such rumours and argued that the family would share the news when the time was right. We wrote in Punjabi, “We are thankful to Sidhu’s fans who are concerned about our family. But we plead there are so many rumors going around about the family, they are not to be believed. Whatever news, the family will share with you all,” he wrote in Punjabi.”

For those not in the know, in February this year, Indian Express reported that the parents of the late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, are expecting a new addition to their family. According to reports, his mother is 58 and his father is 60.

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa, a day after the state government curtailed his security cover. He was shot at point-blank range and the assailants fired over 30 rounds at Moosewala, who was found slumped in the driver’s seat by locals. The Punjab Police SIT has filed three chargesheets against 32 accused, including gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, claiming the murder was part of a series of revenge killings between the Bishnoi and Bambiha gangs.

Since Moosewala’s murder, his parents have been leading a movement to seek justice for their son. The music video for his last song prominently displayed a flag with the message “Justice for Sidhu Moosewala”.
