Ritu Rathee Addresses Separation Rumors with Gaurav Taneja

Popular YouTuber Ritu Rathee, known for her content alongside husband Gaurav Taneja (Flying Beast), has broken her silence on swirling rumors about their marriage. In a candid Instagram video titled “Divorce Reality Check,” Rathee opened up about the challenges of navigating personal issues in the public eye.

The couple, who rose to fame during the pandemic, have been the subject of intense speculation regarding the status of their eight-year marriage. Rathee, visibly frustrated, urged followers to respect their privacy and refrain from taking sides in what she considers a private matter.

“A small disagreement between a husband and wife doesn’t define our entire relationship,” Rathee explained, addressing the rumors head-on.

She expressed disappointment in some overzealous fans, dubbed the “Ritu Army,” for overstepping boundaries by sharing zoomed-in footage of her recent spiritual visit to Varanasi.

Rathee firmly stated, “I don’t need support from social media,” emphasizing her capability to handle personal matters without public intervention. She highlighted the complexity of marital issues, cautioning against simplistic judgments of right and wrong.

In a poignant moment, Rathee challenged the notion of being a “helpless woman,” instead pointing out real examples of vulnerability in society. “The maid who comes to your house faces countless hardships. I wish you would go to her house and help resolve her issues,” she remarked, putting the situation into perspective.

The YouTuber also touched on evolving societal norms, noting how blame in separations has shifted from women to men. However, she stressed that neither she nor Gaurav were entirely at fault, asking viewers to refrain from vilifying her husband.

Rathee’s video serves as a stark reminder of the challenges public figures face in maintaining privacy.

“I quit social media one year ago and I don’t regret it,” she revealed, hinting at the toll of constant public scrutiny.

As the couple navigates this challenging period, Rathee’s message is clear: their personal life is not for public consumption. She concluded with a powerful statement, “Na galat karu, na galat sahu” (I will neither do wrong, nor endure it), asserting her stance on maintaining dignity through this difficult time.
