She made her big break in 1977 with Rajshri’s Dulhan Wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye, a film that became an instant hit and household name. Her career took off from there, with standout roles in movies like Seetamalakshmi (Telugu), where she earned the Filmfare Award for Best Actress and Sharda and Aasha (with Jeetendra), which earned her a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Along with Hindi and Telugu, she also worked in Odia and Malayalam films, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
But behind the glamorous roles, Rameshwari’s life took a more personal turn when she married her FTII classmate, Deepak Seth, a Punjabi actor-producer. They raised two sons, Bhaskara Pratap Seth and Surya Prem Seth. Alongside her acting career, Rameshwari and Deepak ventured into film production with Hum Farishte Nahin (1988) and Mein Tuun Assin Tussin (2007), a Punjabi film based on Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors.

Her coffee scrub recipe, which she proudly shared in one of her reels, gathered over 4 million views.
She stated, “We love coffee so much that we put it into our skincare!” She invited her followers to “spruce up this quick DIY body scrub in less than 10 minutes and wake up the Glow Goddess in you!”
