College Rivals Unveils 7-part video series celebrating esports in India

Pan India esports tournament College Rivals has launched a new seven-video marketing series, showcasing fusion of gaming, music, and pop culture. The first of the seven-video series features Tanmay Bhatt, as he launches a teaser for the anthem through his eponymous YouTube channel. Throughout this series, the Ampverse team is being shown brainstorming innovative ways to captivate the interest of the gaming and esports community. This is joined by two of the most prominent esports figures in the industry, Scout and Mortal.

In the initial segments of the series, Mortal makes an entrance, contributing his tactics to establish a connection with the gaming community in India.  In the latter half of the series,  viewers will witness Scout’s intuitive understanding of gaming culture which will infuse the campaign with uniqueness, resonating perfectly with the gaming community. College Rivals’ emphasis on community engagement is evident in this campaign. Further, the campaign is a collaboration between pop culture, gaming, esports, music and fashion.

The video series will be featured on College Rivals’ social media channels and will be showcased on the social media platforms of India’s top content creators and players, Tanmay Bhatt, Scout, and Mortal. “This mockumentary showcases a true conversation between the team and the work that goes behind a successful campaign. The active participation of gamers in shaping this anthem reflects the brand’s commitment to co-creation, transforming it into a movement for gamers nationwide,” says a company release.
