The India Games Market Reports Series by Niko Partners highlights how fast India’s gaming industry is expanding. In 2024, the market grew by 13.6%, reaching $943 million in revenue. By the end of 2025, it will surpass $1 billion, and by 2028, it is projected to hit $1.4 billion, with a five-year growth rate of 11.1% CAGR.

Chandrahas Panigrahi, Co-founder of Let’s Game Now, believes that creating games, not just playing them, is the future. “This is a wake-up call for policymakers. We must focus on making original Indian games instead of relying on foreign titles.”
